Abstract: <p>In 2011, nature photographer David Slater, from Mathern, South Wales, travelled to Indonesia to take photographs of the Celebes crested macaques. During his shoot, Slater set up the camera on a tripod, and deliberately left the remote trigger for the camera accessible to the macaque.
